Would make a good mellow Rap backtrack.
doesn't really go anywhere though

Sweet
verrrrrrry pro sounding trance, nice and long too. i am impressed by the sound you are able to get from FL.
dude, you realize that you got 10ed by pustate, who has been played by Armin van Buuren, that is pretty sweet!
Yea I know about Pulstate. Me and him are friends and hes one of my biggest role models, so getting a 10 from him is HUGE. Also, thanks a lot for the review. I hope my next remix will be just as epic!!!
I heard it
Lovely song, my super studio monitor headphones are awesome
i heard that super quiet loon sound in the intro, love little touches like that
yeah i spent ages making that sound but it didnt sound right unless it was real quiet so, yeah
uhhhhhh
just responding to the guy below...
what?????
instrument samples against the rules, that would be crazy!
I highly advize you to touch them again as they are the basis for all electronic music!
There is no shame in using samples!!!!!
When people think samples they must think you are just stealing other peoples melodies or something. NOT TRUE!
its just like an instrument, nobody yells at Bach for stealing the clarinet, its just an instrument
Lol thanks for trying to explain, but I still have no idea what wtflol was on about. The sounds i used in that were fl presets. Nothing wrong with that.
erphhh
Well, I gotta say, that while i really like most of your music, the synth you brought in at round 27sec was not for me. It sounds like someone is waving a taser wrapped in wool about 3 inches from my face. ERg, but I guess you liked it
You are very talented with getting those vocals effects to sound good and fit with the song, nice job
Hahahaha that's a unique description of a synth :P
I get how someone could not like it though. I DO like that synth, but I actually was slightly bothered by the fact that it sounds like farting when it hits low notes. If the song was in a higher key, the synth would sound better. I tried it, but didn't like the emotion of the song as much when it was higher. Specifically the vocals.
Thanks for the review :)
SWEEEEEET
Wowzers, why has nobody comment on this. the beat is AWESOME
Just found you and I absolutely love your stuff, it is very unique and has a great feel.
Nice to find a real artist on NG every once in a while.
Thanks for the review :) Yeah I've always considered this one of my underrated songs, too. It doesn't seem to get much attention, but I really like it. I'm glad you too.
VEry well done
No complaints, you knew what you where doing
Advice, give the wierd warpy sound that comes it around 1:15 some more bass and and crunch, it is a little out of place and doesn't sound a wintery as the rest of the song. I was imagining it as wierd deep crunchy sounds coming from a glacier or something.
What did you use for the piano portion? It is recorded or actually a synth, because it sounds great
The piano is recorded :D
The "weird warpy sound" is a distorted, pitchbent square wave, and I added it to add to the desolate feeling, because it sounds mournful. :D
I like it
Thats a pretty good one, I like it
so right to the how to improve it!
A few things.
1. I think the biggest thing that would improve the mix would be a little more variation in the frequencies, Most of the song stays in the low and low middle freq's, and I think it would sound more professional with some more stuff in the the high end (maybe some bendy electro synths)
2. While I always say your songs could have more noises and FX, I think this one could specifically benefit from some effects on the transitions, You use automations nicely, but I think a reverse cymbal or some wierd noise would add to the complexity and make it cooler.
3. Lastly, gosh man, stop resorting to plopping a wierd gating pattern on the last third of the song for some variation. I don't like it, its way too noticable/presetty/doesn't sound good. I know you can find another way to make the end interesting.
Still, a good song.
as always I am grateful for your advice, this will help a lot!!
I started making music and wanted to get some feedback so I came here!
